Mr. Christos Sougles is an Embedded Systems Engineer (Research Associate) at CERTH/ITI.
His Research Interests are in the areas of V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) / V2I (Vehicle to Infrastructure) Communications and Automotive Network Applications based on CAN-Bus.
He has acquired experience mainly in: i) Writing Firmware for various Microcontrollers (Assembly & Embedded C programming), ii) Object Oriented C++ Programming, iii) Database Designing, iv) Schematic & PCB Design (Altium), v) PCB Manufacturing using UV Exposure Device and Etching Device, vi) Designing External Cases & Stickers of Automation Systems (Corel Draw), vii) Building Communication between the Application User and the Gsm Modem through the Microcontroller (Telemetry), viii) Building Communication among Microcontrollers through the Wired Networks RS485 & CAN-Bus, ix) Designing User Interface in Embedded Systems, x) Designing the Automation Control Panel of Custom Automation Systems (Vision), xi) Programming PLC (Siemens).
