Biography

Michael Anastasiadis received his diploma in Mathematics (B.Sc.) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2015. He later completed a two-year masters in Theoretical Informatics and Systems & Control Theory (M.Sc.) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2018. His main research interests lie in the fields of postquantum cryptography, homomorphic cryptography and cybersecurity. His dissertation was titled ‘’The (R)LWE problem on cryptography’’ and is based on the provable hardness of the (R)LWE problem by using reductions in worst-case lattice problems and on the applications of the problem in homomorphic cryptography.
