Master Thesis: “FPGA-MIPS Simulator: Implementation on a reprogrammable FPGA of a MIPS simulator”
For the purpose of my master thesis during university i had to:
Implement a simulator of the MIPS microprocessor in Simulink / Matlab
Automatically produce compatible VHDL code and transfer the simulator in a working FPGA
Implement peripheral programms to be run on the simulator
Run the simulator on real programms coded in C & Assembly
General programming knowledge include: C++, C, Cuda, Python, Assembly, Javascript, Rust, HTML, Css
Microprocessor Knowledge: Arduino, AVR, AtMega16, MIPS
My research interests include:
Microprocessors, optimizing programs, Computer Vision, parallelization of algorithms
